These terms apply to all programs and services provided by Arab Women United (AWU), including but not limited to AWU Community Hub, THRIVE, EmpowerHer Business, and She Leads Academy (“Programs”). By enrolling, participating, or accessing any of these Programs, you agree to the following:
2.1 Ownership and Intellectual Property
All materials, videos, guides, workbooks, course content, lessons, and digital resources provided within our Programs are the exclusive property of Arab Women United (AWU).
You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use these materials solely for your own educational and personal development purposes.
You may not, under any circumstances:
- Copy, record, screenshot, or share any course materials, discussions, or private group content;
- Reproduce, distribute, publish, or resell any AWU content;
- Use AWU materials for commercial or training purposes without written consent.
- Any violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of your membership and may result in legal action.
2.2 Access and Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must not share your login information or allow others to access AWU platforms using your credentials.
If multiple logins or suspicious activity are detected, AWU reserves the right to suspend or permanently revoke your access without refund.

2.3 Membership and Termination
Membership in any AWU Program is a privilege, not a right. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to any Program or service at any time, without prior notice, if you:
Violate community guidelines or these Terms;

- Use profanity, discrimination, hate speech, or false claims;
- Engage in theft, dishonesty, or misrepresentation of your identity or affiliation.
- AWU reserves full discretion to determine whether conduct violates our standards.
- You may cancel your membership at any time. However, due to the digital nature of our content, no refunds will be issued once you have been granted access.
2.4 Payment Terms
By enrolling in a paid Program or membership, you agree to pay all applicable fees as outlined at the time of purchase.
If you are on a payment plan, you must complete all required payments.
Missed or failed payments may result in temporary suspension of your access until resolved.
Persistent non-payment may result in permanent removal from the Program without refund.
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated, and AWU reserves the right to update fees at any time.
2.5 Refund Policy
All sales for digital courses, memberships, or online content are final and non-refundable.
Once access to the Program materials has been provided, you acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to any refund or credit, regardless of whether you complete the course or participate in the program.
This policy ensures the protection of our intellectual property and the integrity of our members’ experience.
2.6 Code of Conduct
AWU strives to maintain a respectful, empowering, and supportive environment for all members. By joining any Program, you agree to:
- Treat all members and mentors with respect and kindness;

- Not use the community or course platforms for solicitation or personal gain;
- Refrain from using profanity, discrimination, or offensive language.
- Failure to uphold these standards may result in immediate removal from the Program and community spaces without refund.
2.7 Disclaimer: Educational Use Only
All AWU Programs, including EmpowerHer Business, THRIVE, and She Leads Academy, are designed for educational and informational purposes only.
We make no guarantees about specific outcomes, income levels, or personal results.
AWU does not provide:
- Financial, legal, or business guarantees;
- Medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice;
- Any claims that participation will result in financial success or specific achievements.
Any testimonials or success stories are examples of individual experiences and do not represent typical or guaranteed results.
You are solely responsible for applying the knowledge gained and for your own success or failure.
2.8 Health and Wellness Disclaimer
Programs like THRIVE may include wellness, mindset, or self-development discussions. These are intended for educational and motivational purposes only.
They are not a substitute for medical or professional advice.

2.9 In-Person Events and Liability
For in-person events, workshops, or meetups hosted by AWU:
You participate at your own risk;
AWU is not responsible for any personal injury, property loss, theft, or damage that may occur during events;
You agree to assume full financial responsibility for any damage or harm you cause to event property, venues, or individuals.
By attending, you release AWU, its staff, volunteers, and partners from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your participation.
2.10 Modifications and Updates
AWU reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue any Program, service, or policy at any time. Updates to these Terms will be posted on our website and take effect immediately. Continued participation in any Program constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

By enrolling in an AWU Program, you agree to receive communications from us via email, text, or messaging platforms for purposes related to your participation, updates, and member opportunities.
You may opt out of non-essential communications (like newsletters) at any time, but essential messages related to your program access will continue.
2.12 Content Submission and Testimonials
By submitting feedback, participating in discussions, or providing testimonials, you grant AWU permission to use your words, photos, or video content for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes — unless you request otherwise in writing.
You retain ownership of your content but grant AWU a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it responsibly.
2.13 No Partnership or Employment Relationship
Participation in any AWU Program does not create an employment, agency, or partnership relationship with AWU.
You are an independent participant and are not authorized to represent AWU in any capacity without written consent.
2.14 Program Transfer or Replacement
AWU reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, replace, or discontinue any program, service, or course offering at any time. If a program is discontinued, members may be transferred into an updated or equivalent program of similar value. Such transfers do not entitle the participant to a refund or price adjustment. AWU will make reasonable efforts to notify affected members of any significant program changes.
2.15 Participant Responsibility
Participants acknowledge that their success and outcomes depend on their own actions, effort, and commitment. AWU provides educational resources, guidance, and support, but makes no guarantees of specific results, income, or achievements. Each participant is solely responsible for applying the materials and strategies provided within AWU Programs. AWU shall not be held liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from participation in our programs, services, or events.
2.16 Affiliate and Partner Disclaimer
From time to time, AWU may share information, resources, or links related to partner organizations, sponsors, or affiliate programs. 4. Payments and Billing
4.1 Payment Processing
All payments for AWU Programs and services are processed securely through third-party payment providers, including but not limited to Stripe and PayPal. AWU does not store credit card or payment information directly.
By submitting your payment information, you authorize AWU to charge the indicated amount for the selected services, courses, or membership. You represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
AWU reserves the right to decline, suspend, or cancel access to any program or service if payment is disputed, unauthorized, or declined for any reason.
4.2 Currency and Taxes
All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified. You are responsible for any additional fees, including but not limited to:
Applicable local or international taxes;
Bank fees or currency conversion charges;
Any third-party payment processing fees.
4.3 Failed Payments and Account Suspension
If a scheduled payment is declined or fails, AWU may suspend your access to the program or service until the outstanding balance is resolved. Continued non-payment may result in permanent removal from the program without refund.
4.4 Refunds and Billing Disputes
Due to the digital nature of AWU Programs and membership services, all payments are final and non-refundable. Exceptions will only be considered in cases of duplicate billing or verified technical errors.
Any chargebacks, reversals, or disputes initiated by the participant without prior authorization may result in immediate suspension or termination of access, and AWU reserves the right to recover any losses, fees, or legal costs incurred as a result.
4.5 Modifications to Pricing
AWU reserves the right to update, change, or adjust program fees, membership rates, or service prices at any time. Fee changes will not affect payments already completed for current program enrollments, but may apply to future renewals, memberships, or course access.
4.6 Participant Responsibility
By completing payment, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are responsible for providing accurate billing information;
- You are responsible for maintaining sufficient funds or credit for payment;
- You will not dispute legitimate charges after receiving program access.
