Who we are
At AWU, we believe every woman deserves a voice,
a community, and a path forward.
Our Story
Arab Women United is a nonprofit organization devoted to empowering Arab women through culturally responsive support, inclusive education, and intentional community-building. Rooted in the belief that every woman deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued, our mission is to create safe and affirming spaces where Arab, immigrant, and BIPOC women can rise, lead, and thrive.
We offer leadership development, healing-centered programming, and access to vital resources that uplift women across generations. By centering the unique experiences of Arab women, we work to dismantle systemic barriers, challenge harmful stigmas, and cultivate a strong sisterhood rooted in shared culture, resilience, and pride.
Through collaboration, storytelling, and advocacy, Arab Women United stands at the intersection of tradition and progress—honoring where we come from while boldly shaping the future we deserve.
